The Fanadir Holiday Resort ***

The Fanadir Holiday Resort is located directly on the red sea. Here you can enjoy a tranquil holiday, far away from hectic everyday life and experience the fascination of authentic Egypt with a true oriental flair.

The Fanadir Holiday Resort has been established in 1997 with a full refurbishment programme completed during the summer of 2007 and reopend in 2008. The concept aims to bring our guest near the traditional and typical Egyptian way of life with insights into Arabic culture.

There are 28 bungalows that are arranged in an arc, all with a fantastic view of the red sea. The bungalows are furnished in an authentic Egyptian style, and are either equipped with twin or double beds. All rooms are en suite with shower and WC, as well as air-conditioning, TV and minibar.

Each room at Fanadir Holiday Resort has its own small terrace with palm furniture. Here you can start the day with a delicious breakfast, spend the evening relaxing with a cool drink or simply watching the breathtaking view on the red sea.

Fanadir Holiday Resort has multiple room apartments, each with two bedrooms or one bathroom. One apartment has additive one living room. The furniture made with natural wood, as a matter of course the apartments have Sat. TV, Minibar and Aircondition. All Apartments have a balcony or a terrace, from where you can have a wunderfull view to the sea and the harbour of El Quseir .

Mangrove Bay ***

Away from telephones, the peaceful Mangrove Bay Resort is situated 29 km south of El Quesir on the way to Marsa Alam. This simple yet delightful hotel with only 90 rooms overlooks a beautiful bay with mangrove trees. There are 3 white sandy beaches - perfect for strolling along after dinner in the main restaurant or at the Barbeque grill. The hotel has a swimming pool and offers billiards, fishing, beach volleyball, camel and horseback riding and desert safaris. There is also a recommended dive centre on site, Ducks Dive Centre.

Flamenco Beach Resort ****

Set in landscaped gardens 7kms from El Quesir Flamenco Beach Resort offers stylish accommodation in peaceful surroundings. It has its own sandy beach as well as 3 outdoor swimming pools, and has a selection of restaurants and bars. Leisure activities include snorkelling on the house reef and diving with the Resort Dive Centre, Marina Divers. There is also a gym, tennis court, volleyball, table tennis, a pool table, cycle hire, a sauna, massage and a kids club (for 4-8 years olds). Click on images to enlarge

Akassia Swiss Resort *****

This uniquely designed hotel is 15 minutes drive south of El Quesir. Built on a large private beach with its own house reef it is great for families and snorkellers. There is also a well run dive centre, Waterworld within the resort complex. With 4 swimming pools, a variety of bars and restaurants, a kids club and leisure facilities including tennis, volleyball, a gym, a health club with sauna and jacuzzi, there is plenty to do, but the emphasis is on relaxation. Movenpick Hotel *****

With prize - winning architecture this fabulous 5 star resort hotel is set in a dramatic location in a beautiful bay with a glorious sandy beach approximately 5 km from the town of El Quesir. The comfortable rooms are all set within Nubian style bungalows with either a balcony or terrace looking out to the Red Sea or to the gardens. There is a choice of restaurants and bars, and nightly entertainment. With a wonderful and well cared for house reef in the bay and with direct access from the beach it is great for snorkellers and divers alike. The dive centre is run by the Swiss company, Subex, from the opposite end of the beach.
