Teverina BassaCa di Bracco
A 5 bedroom house that sleeps 10, Cà di Bracco is an old farmhouse with adjoining tobacco drying tower. The owners live in the tobacco tower, with its own separate garden and entrance. The house is completely private, and is not overlooked by any other properties. The pool and main garden areas are for the sole use of guests. There are 2 floors with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Two double bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. There is a third double bedroom off the same hall as a room with 2 single beds and a bathroom, and a further twin bedroom off the same hall as the fourth bathroom. Bed linen, towels and pool towels are provided at no extra cost. The large, fully equipped kitchen has archway through to the dining room with French windows on to a patio for al fresco meals and barbecues. The upper floor sitting room has sofas and easy chairs and access to the loggia with more chairs. The property has 4 acres of land, mostly wild. Between the house and the pool is a large lawned area with a small wood to one side. The pool is surrounded by a dense bay hedge and is gated to keep it safe for children. The house has patio and pool furniture for the use of guests. The garden has a barbecue and a table tennis table. In the appropriate seasons you can soak in our hot-tub and gaze at the thousands of stars visible in the countryside darkness. There is about a kilometre of gravel road to the main valley road. The last third of a kilometre to the house is used only by residents and guests of Cà di Bracco and the occasional farm vehicle. In 5 minutes you can be at the small village of Spedalicchio which has a small but well supplied grocery shop and a bar. The village of Niccone is in the other direction a little further away and has a few shops and cafes. In 15 minutes you are at the town of Umbertide which has shops, a market, restaurants etc. There are two efficient wood stoves and gas fired central heating, an extra cost (not when B&B). Returnable housekeeping (damage, telephone) £100 a week. £400 booking deposit per week - rest within six weeks of departure
